Adult QuietSense™ Sound Reducing Sensory Hoodie

I am AuDHD and also work in a call center. Additionally I am a mom to a beautiful 1 year old girl now. We don't have much, so we have to save up for this hoodie but words cannot express how helpful it has been. I wanted to review earlier but life got more hectic, which made me wear it more which made me love it more. So full circle I guess. But this hoodie is perfect for helping me calm down. While typing this I got off of the phone from a 1 ½ hour long call for a password reset, and the hoodie is the main thing helping me regulate my nervous system post call irritation.

i got this as a gift for Christmas and i take out every time i go into public it soft and the magnetic close makes fun fidget toy for me play with if i am waiting for something it has saved me many times form having a meltdown in public in stores and restaurants and i also love it not as noticeable as my headphones it just look like im wearing. a jacket

I was worried at first if the XS would fit me, but when it arrived. I was happy it did fit me. I was surprised by the weight of the hood, while wearing it, it's quite noticeable to feel it, like adding a rock on the back of the hood when not wearing it. I was surprised that the pockets were small, yes it's XS but I wouldn't recommend putting a phone in there, it would fit or probably fall. Otherwise the rest is to description, the winter version of this vest, heats up fast, the eyes protection is also added, and the in-build ear protectors works

I've been wearing my hoodie non stop since I got it. I have the one made from cotton and its so soft and comfortable. The sound dampening hood takes a bit to get used to but works wonderfully. The hood is big enough that I can fit my ear muffs too.

I love it! I need to order a size bigger and patiently wait for the cooler fabric to be in stock but it is amazing and I love everything about it

This is a fantastic sweatshirt! I really appreciate the sound muffling as well as the eye cover and loops in the sleeves for my thumbs. I also really like that although this is not labeled as a way to sweatshirt it does have a little bit of a weighted feeling without being too bulky like other companies. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the magnets come undone a little too easily and I would have liked it if it had been a little more weighted. I ordered another weighted sweatshirt from another company and this by far surpasses it many times over. I have told others about the sweatshirt and they have seen it and are planning to purchase theirs as well

Great product, my daughter found it a great help and never takes it off, highly recommend.

I've struggled to find sensory-friendly clothing that actually meets my needs - until now. The QuietSense hoodie is soft, grounding, and helps reduce overstimulation in busy environments. It feels like a safe little bubble I can bring with me anywhere. Bonus: it looks great too. Truly thankful this exists.

This hoodie is everything I hoped for, it's comfortable and calming, even more when I travel and feel overwhelmed!

The material feels so nice. I have severe sensory issues and the jacket doesn't bother me at all. I can wear it all day without being overstimulated by my clothes.
I live in Germany and I had some issues with the shipment by UPS. I contacted the shop and my order arrived 2 days after. They helped me so much. I really recommend purchasing from the shop!

Just got my hoodie today and I really like it. Only a few suggestions.

Softer material on the inside as it's a little scratchy.

Pockets. Needs pockets.

Thumb holes for the sleeves.

Longer length options. My husband would like one but he has a long torso and it's to short for him 😔

Otherwise, I love the magnetic closures, no seams, and hood. 😊

I love the slightly weighted feeling of this sweater. I love that it has pockets for me to put a fidget in! It’s very soft (I bought it in fleece) and there’s no tags! My only tiny complaint is that the hood is kinda annoying when it’s not in use. But that’s a personal thing and others may not find it annoying, and I’m slightly getting used to it. I just wish the ear padding could be taken out at times. I would recommend this to other autistic adults! 5 stars for sure.

I love this hoodie I wear it almost everyday to school. it's very warm, the magnetic closures are the best, the hood is nice and thick and it's pretty comfy. I just don't like how the hood lays on my back when it's down due to the noise reduction panels. the magnets are like a fidget for meand they're quiet so it's perfect for class time. I wish there were pockets to keep my hands and lil trinkets in. amazing hoodie!!

Uncomfortable, doesn’t fit my adult body properly, sound reducing discs in the hood are awkward and don’t fit over my ears properly.

I really like this hoodie. Especially the magnetic closure and the hood. I love the weight of it. However, my main desires for this hoodie would be pockets and a softer material inside. The sound reduction in the hood is great and I like using the eye mask part outside when I forgot my sun glasses. Overall pretty good, but missing just a couple features for the price.

This hoodie is overall pretty good! There are a few possible "issues" though. The first being that it has no pockets. Putting their hands in their pockets is one way the person in my life finds small amounts of needed pressure when in overwhelming situations, and wearing this hoodie prevents that stimulation. Another small con is the fit. When worn this hoodie does not look like a "typical" hoodie like we thought it was going to. It hangs odd off the body and can almost look feminine in the way it shapes itself. We resolve both of these "issues" by wearing the hoodie underneath another hoodie.

We love the hood and magnets though! When wearing this hood their tolerance to the household noises (dogs lapping at water, dishes clanging, cats scratching at toys, etc.) increases significantly! The hoodie doesn't block any of these noises but helps to reduce the "brain clanging" that often comes with these sounds. The eye mask doesn't get a lot of use simply because they don't need it, but on the rare occasion that it's been used, the eye mask does its job nicely. Lastly, the magnets. Oh, the lovely magnets! Zippers have always been a pain for the person in my life. Their long hair always gets caught in them, and the feeling of the zipper itself is awful. Well not anymore with these magnet closures!

All in all, we highly recommend this hoodie!

I bought this for my 18 year old grandson who loves it. He? Noiseless it for me. Big smiles.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. I asked her how she likes it, and all she said was "It's amazing".

We absolutely love love love this hoodie for our son who has sensory processing issues. It is extremely well-made and very comfortable. He loves the clever magnetic closure in the front! Our favorite part is the ear pads and eye covering - this will be fantastic when going out and about in overstimulating environments! Thank you so much for making this! the hood part was great but my only problems were there are no pokets and the inside fabirc wasent that great but other than that keep up the awsome work.

This hoodie is so great, and Arielle, who is about to be 16 with autism, loves it! Arielle has severe sensory issues and this hoodie seems as if it was built for her! The flat seems, easy opening, sound reductive hood, built in eye mask, and soft material are all accommodating to her, and do work! It is so amazing to have this hoodie in an adult size, which is so special because most sensory friendly clothing are only in childrens sizes. I was amazed at the insight that was put into this creation. Very well thought out and executed. Excellent purchase for years to come.

Its really a good quality hoodie, love the buttons, although am not sure entirely sure how this can be washed, as it is no fit to be washed in a washing machine, perhaps it should be hand washed?
Still in the process of “testing” new things are scary for my son.
