We purchased the QuietSense™ Sound Reducing Sensory Hoodie. The XS fit her well at 7 years old, with space to grow. She's already using it as her cozy outfit and the sound reducing pads help block out her brother's chaos and the eye cover is a nice addition too. She has one hand so having the magnetic hidden buttons down the front is a great and accessible feature. She loves it!
Bought this for my nonverbal autistic 3.5 year old son. He is always plugging his ears due to his high sensitivity to loud sounds but won’t wear noise canceling headphones since he can’t handle anything on his head. We thought we’d give this a try. He seems to love it and wore the hood too! He’s very tiny tho and the xs is big on him but that’s expected with it being a size 4/5. My 7 year old is also tiny and she can fit it as well. She is always wearing her brother’s noise cancelling headphones, she tried this hoodie on and loves it as well. She’s now asking for one of her own! It’s a great product, the fabric is very soft, and it seems to be made with durable and high quality materials. Definitely worth buying! The only recommendation I have would be to consider making a size smaller than the xs such as an xxs!
This is the third sound reduction hoodie I have bought for my son. He loves it so much he insists on wearing it 24/7. Yes, even to bed!
We had to buy backups so we could wash one while still having one available for him to wear.
They all have held up great through the wear and tear and washing.

My son absolutely loves his jacket! We opted for the magnetic closure jacket over the hoodie because he normally doesn't like how a hoodie feels around his neck. I personally think the hood looks a little bulky, but he loves it and that's all that matters!

AWESOME idea and AWESOME product! I am an OT in a pediatric ASD setting and this has been a great tool (esp as it's getting colder out) for my clients who want a noise blocking tool to their ears but noise cancelling headphones phones are too much pressure or too hard to take on/off (this sweatshirt is SO easy too w/ the magnetic fasteners). It also provides some visual blocking at the hood or cozy wear for other sensory aversions a child may have. :)
The school has requested I leave a hoodie there for him since he doesn't like the sound reducing headphones and he loves his hoodie. These hoodies have been a life saver for him!

Love this hoodie. My son is autistic and he loves it.
I like the color and texture of the hoodie but the cut on the bottom makes it look kind of like robe of sorts, feels like it should be cut differently or something like that, and also if you aren't wearing the hoodie part it sticks out as well. My son loves the weighted feel of it and wears it when you gets overwhelmed but doesn't like wearing it in public because of the hood and cut. Definitely better than nothing though and I appreciate the effort! Will be buying another pair for my older son now that they have adult sizing as well!
